Ozark Extreme Adventure
Racing will be holding a Navigation Clinic at
Pinnacle Mountain State Park near Little Rock,
Arkansas.

the specifics for this clinic will include:

Navigation for
Adventure Racing, Classroom and Course-
Learn the basic concepts for navigating with a
map and compass utilizing plotting, terrain
following, UTM reading, distance calculations
and strategy.

Day Clinic Schedule
Location:

10:30 – Navigation clinic to include:

UTM coordinate plotting and grid identification
·
Compass familiarization and recommendations
·
Basic navigation with a standard 1:24,000 map
12:30pm – Lunch Discussion – Team Dynamics
1:30pm – Practical exercises in plotting and field
navigation
3:30pm – Course complete.

cash and we will make a lunch run for everyone.
